Approved by the State Council, in June 19, 2007, the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation, taking the national development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Taxation in 2007, No. 90, issued "on the lower part of the export tax rebate rate of notification", implemented since July 1, 2007.

The main purpose of this adjustment is to further control the excessive growth of exports to ease China's trade surplus is too large to bring the outstanding contradictions, improve the structure of export commodities, the effect of high energy consumption, high pollution and resource products export.

Machine components industry tariff reduction products are of 36 kinds, mainly mechanical parts, metal chain, including motorcycle roller chain, bicycle roller chain, other articulated chain, anti-skid chain, chain, chain link on the word welding and various chain parts; various steel standard fasteners, including screws, nuts and threaded products; all kinds of springs, including automotive, railway vehicle spring, are reduced from 13% to 5%; another portable hydraulic power tools (including chain saws) and parts from 17% to 9%.

The basic pieces of machinery export tax rebate rate in addition to the above three products, copper and aluminum standard fasteners, spring 13%; hydraulic components and devices and pneumatic components and devices is 17%; mould, bearings, seals, hydraulic and pneumatic valves is 13%.1.
